DNS server, BIND94 installation

1. cd /usr/ports/dns/bind94

2. make install clean

3. cp /etc/namedb/named.conf  /etc/namedb/named.conf.old

4. cd /etc/namedb

algorithm hmac-md5;

default-key “rndc-key”;
default-server 127.0.0.1;

6. ee rndc.conf

7. copy from “# Start of rndc.conf…” till “# End of rndc.conf” here

8. quit and save

9. ee named.conf

10. copy from “# Use with the following..” till “# …End of named.conf” here, uncomment the line from the first second line till the part before the last line

11.  quit and save

  1. when i try to restarty my named, it gives the following error:
    stoppping named.
    rndc failed, trying kill:waiting for PIDS:3464.
    starting named.

    How can i solve this problem?
